Tucked away in Amsterdam's Jordaan area is rather unusual house owned by a rather unusual woman. Make up artist Ellis Faas has cobined period details such as wooden floors and exposed brickwork with contemporary touches -think a modern fireplace, deep white cushions and an aquarium- to give her home a laid-back apres ski-feel!
